Firstly let me start by thanking the organisers of the summer ball 2024 and to Andy Elsey at SUBU for your hospitality.
This was the first time anyone from the Jynx studio has experienced going to an event like this and I must say I was blown over with how epic it actually was. We arrived bright and breezy to setup and prepare for what I would expect to be a a moderately busy day but boy was I wrong lol.
From 2pm when the students arrived to when we packed up it was insanely busy with people wanting temporary tattoos.
I had no idea offering temporary tattoos would go over so well in all honesty. I hadn't put one on my skin since I was a child and used to get them in a candy stick packet of sweets. Yes I am that old ladies & gents lol.
Everyone seemed so surprised that we were offering them for free but for me its not a ploy to make money, it was simply a way to interact with the Bournemouth students and most importantly have some fun.
Myself and my helper Gabi had the pleasure of meeting and interacting with some amazing young individuals.
I am proud to say we were THE ONLY tattoo & piercing studio at the event.
