Jynx has only been established for coming up 2 years but piercing runs through our vains and is the heart beat of the studio.

Metal Fatigue
A long standing part of the Bournemouth alternative scene, founded by the well known sarge. You can not mention piercing bournemouth without paying homarge to the ogs.
Myself and my wife both had piercings with sarge and personally found the experience very pleasant.
Since sarge unfortunate passing Metal Fatigue is now run by the lovely AJ & Simon. Both have been very approachable and friendly to us at Jynx.
I will always respect those that were here first and ill only ever send customers to places I trust if we are to busy and metal fatigue is the only one in Bournemouth. AJ sends the odd tattoo client our way also which I certainly appreciate. It is very refreshing to not but heads with competition, we are all about helping each other out.

If you fancy travelling a little further or take a trip to Southampton then pay the guys at Titanic a visit. All their piercers are apprentice trained by the very experienced Louise/Weeze
Louise will soon be moving on to start her tattoo apprenticeship but they still have some good piercers to help with any piercing needs.

You they have simply done a three to four day crash course and then released into the community free to pierce whoever they please. Their is allot more to piercing than just putting a needle through someone body part. A professional cares about the materials they use, their anatomy, sizing and continued training.
The UKAPP states
Unfortunately, piercing courses are not recommended. It simply isn’t possible to teach everything you would need to know to pierce safely and independently by completing a course that lasts only a few days or weeks. Piercing courses are a money-making enterprise, often set up by piercers using outdated methods, and many people who do a course end up having to look for an apprenticeship later to fill all the gaps in their knowledge.
